When a customer was facing a challenge with the hoses for its cooling systems, a FLN-MAR sales representative was ready to provide a solution.
The Customer
Based in East Granby, Connecticut, MP Systems designs rugged, dependable high-pressure coolant systems, chillers and accessories for machine tools. The company’s systems frequently play a crucial role in improving the performance and efficiency of CNC machines. Commonly used in machining operations to cool and lubricate cutting tools while controlling temperature, the systems effectively remove chips from the cutting zone and even reduce machining time.
The Challenge
MP Systems was facing an issue with certain hoses another vendor had supplied. The hoses were prone to hardening and becoming brittle, which would lead to cracks and require replacements—causing disruptions in customer operations and incurring additional costs.
